Eugene A. Allen

He was a member of Company B, Manigault's Battalion, South Carolina Artillery. He was born in Abbeville in 1848 and was the son of Charles Allen, whom I believe was the son of the Charles Allen who helped found Laurens S.C. He is wearing a Shell Jacket, (collar is turned in), with Confederate "A" buttons. He is also wearing gloves. He survived the war and fought at Fort Sumter, Grimball's Landing, Battery Wagner, and Seccessionville.
